The San Antonio Rampage opened their Rodeo Road Trip with back-to-back overtime losses to the Iowa Wild (28-16-8) over the weekend at Wells Fargo Arena.

Friday: Rampage 4, Iowa 5 (OT)
The Rampage opened their Rodeo Trip with a 5-4 overtime loss to Iowa. Trevor Smith, Adam Musil, Niko Mikkola, and Sammy Blais all scored goals in the loss for San Antonio and Jared Coreau stopped 26 of 31 shots in the loss.
Iowa had goals from Colton Beck, Matt Read, Gerald Mayhew, and Dmitry Sokolov’s power-play goal was the game-winner.
San Antonio held a 4-1 lead in the third period but could not hang on.
Saturday: Rampage 2, Iowa 3 (OT)
The Rampage fought hard but fell 3-2 in overtime to the Wild on Saturday night, taking two of four possible points on the weekend.
Blais and Klim Kostin scored for the Rampage and Mayhew, J.T. Brown, and Carson Soucy’s overtime goal would be the difference in the game.

The Rampage are now 23-21-4 (50 points) on the season and will return to the ice on Monday night against the Milwaukee Admirals at Panther Arena.
