ROCKFORD – The San Antonio Rampage completed their weekend by earning a split with the Rockford IceHogs (22-24-3) at BMO Harris Bank Center on Friday and Saturday night.

Friday: Rampage 2, Rockford 3 (OT)
The Rampage opened the weekend with a 3-2 overtime loss to the IceHogs on Friday night. Klim Kostin opened the scoring as he beat Rockford goaltender Collin Delia by tucking the puck past his pads for the 1-0 lead.
The home team tied the game up off a San Antonio turnover as Alexandre Fortin chased down the puck and beat Adam Wilcox at 18:35 of the middle stanza. Nicolas Beaudin gave Rockford the 2-1 edge at 13:50 of the third period but San Antonio responded when Austin Poganski banged the puck home just 1:10 later to make it 2-2.
In the overtime period, John Quenneville netted the winner for Rockford.
Saturday: Rampage 3, Rockford 2
San Antonio closed out the weekend with a 3-2 win over the IceHogs for their first win in Rockford since 2017, snapping an eight-game winless streak.
The IceHogs opened the scoring when John Quenneville’s wrister from the top of the right circle beat Ville Husso at 13:28. The Rampage evened the score nearly five minutes later when Nathan Walker put the puck between Delia’s legs to make it 1-1 after the opening 20 minutes.
San Antonio took the 2-1 lead just 46 seconds into the second period as Mike Vecchione banged the puck past Delia. The IceHogs answered back and tied up the score just before the break thanks to a power-play goal off the stick of Gabriel Gagne at 16:21.
Mitch Reinke’s third-period goal at 6:58 would be the difference as San Antonio earned their first win of the Rodeo trip.

The Rampage are now 17-19-12 (46 points) on the season and will return to the ice on Tuesday night when they face the Iowa Wild (29-14-6) at 7 p.m.
