The home team tied the game up off a San Antonio turnover as Alexandre Fortin chased down the puck and beat Adam Wilcox at 18:35 of the middle stanza. Nicolas Beaudin gave Rockford the 2-1 edge at 13:50 of the third period but San Antonio responded when Austin Poganski banged the puck home just 1:10 later to make it 2-2.

In the overtime period, John Quenneville netted the winner for Rockford.

Saturday: Rampage 3, Rockford 2

San Antonio closed out the weekend with a 3-2 win over the IceHogs for their first win in Rockford since 2017, snapping an eight-game winless streak.
