— Taylor was huge in a crucial 42-28 District 28-6A victory over Brennan. Taylor rushed for 189 yards and three scores on 30 carries and added another touchdown through the air on a 29-yard strike to break a 14-14 tie in the third quarter.

SUB-6A – HUNTER HERNANDEZ | Somerset
— Hernandez exploded for 352 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns in a 56-48 victory over Floresville. Head coach Sonny Detmer returned from medical leave to see his team outlast Floresville in a thriller. For the season, the Bulldog has rushed for 1358 yards and 11 touchdowns.
