Video: Project Spurs Network Roundtable – Episode 1

We’re excited to introduce a new video show for the Project Spurs Network. The Project Spurs Network Roundtable stemmed from when Project Spurs used to host the News 4 SA Spurs Roundtable years ago, but this gives us an opportunity to talk about all the teams that are covered under the network banner, including the San Antonio Spurs, Austin Spurs, San Antonio Rampage, San Antonio Football Club, college sports and more.

Stephen Anderson and Victoria Villarreal are your hosts and will guide you through all the latest sports news around our network. Joe Garcia serves as producer.

In our first episode, Stephen and Vickie discussed the latest issues plaguing the Spurs and whether or not Becky Hammon could be the Spurs’ next head coach. For more on the Spurs, including a look at recent games and analysis, be sure to subscribe to the Spurscast and read Project Spurs daily.

On the next segment, Stephen breaks the news to San Antonio sports fans that the city does indeed have a hockey team. Stephen and Vickie also talk about whether or not head coach Drew Bannister should start taking accountability for team losses, especially after claiming that his team was not a highly-skilled team. Follow our Rampage coverage on Rampage Central.

In San Antonio FC coverage, they discuss the team, who has had a very busy offseason thus far, especially after the team moved on from former coach Darren Powell and naming Allen Marcina the team’s new head coverage. Red Black 90 has all of your SAFC coverage, including some players that were just signed.

To finish off this first episode Stephen and Vickie discuss local college football, including UIW and UTSA, and looking back at their last season. Find out more about both seasons on 1st and 210, including UTSA releasing their schedule and UIW adding eight players during the early signing period.
