San Antonio FC midfielder Victor Araujo will miss the remainder of the 2016 season with a torn ACL, the club announced on Wednesday.

Araujo suffered a torn ACL and meniscus in the second half of Saturday’s 2-1 win over Colorado Springs. He was taken off the field on a medical board and is scheduled to have surgery in the coming weeks.

The former Trinity University standout tallied one goal and recorded an assist in 11 matches with SAFC this season.

San Antonio FC will return to the pitch tonight against the Orange County Blues at 7:30 p.m. at Toyota Field.
