On May 27, 2021 the Sun Belt Conference, Conference USA and ESPN all announced the game times and television coverage for Texas State’s first three games of the 2021 season.

The Bobcats begin their 2021 season at home against the Baylor Bears. This will be the eighth meeting against the Bears for the Bobcats, with Texas State looking to win their first game in school history against Baylor. Taking place at Bobcat Stadium on September 4th, ESPN announced that the game begins at 6 p.m. and will be available on ESPN+.

Texas State will then travel to Riccardo Silva Stadium to take on Florida International University on September 11th for their second game of the season. This will be the first game in the school’s history against the Panthers. The September 11th contest will take place at 6 p.m. with the broadcast available only on ESPN3.

Their third game of the season will be against the University of the Incarnate Word, a home game at Bobcat Stadium. This contest will take place at 6 p.m. on September 18th. This will be their second game against one another in school history, with the first game ending in a victory for the Bobcats.

The Bobcats will play six games at home for their 2021 season, with their final four home games coming against in-conference rivals. They’ll take on South Alabama on October 9th, which will be a “Family Weekend” event, then they’ll take on Troy on October 16th. They’ll be away for a couple of weeks before returning to face ULM on November 6th, with their home finale concluding on November 13th against Georgia Southern.

Texas State has announced that season tickets are now available for purchase, starting at $95. Fans can make purchases by calling the Texas State Athletics Ticket Office at (512) 245-2272, or they can purchase tickets through their website, txst.com/tickets.

The school has also announced that current season ticket holders have until June 1st to maintain the priority of their previous seat locations. Should fans and season ticket holders want access to priority seats, a donation to the Bobcat Club is required.
