On August 18, 2014 Florida Panthers General Manager and Vice President Dale Tallon announced Tom Rowe will return as Head Coach of the San Antonio Rampage for the 2014-15 season.

The Rampage went 26-31-3-5 under Rowe during the 2013-2014 season after the took over on November 8 when Peter Horachek was named head coach in Florida. Tallon also announced former Rampage coach Scott Allen has been named assistant coach.

“We are pleased to have Tom and Scott behind the bench leading our prospects in San Antonio next season,” said Tallon. “Both Tom and Scott have worked together before and we are confident that they will create a winning and positive culture for our prospects to grow and develop.”


Allen returns to San Antonio, where he spent time as both an assistant and head coach from 2002-2004. He led the Silver and Black to a 28-45-8-2 record and took the Rampage to the Calder Cup Playoffs in their inaugural season.

The Rampage will kick off the 2014-15 campaign on October 10, 2014 against the Iowa Wild at 7:30 p.m. inside the AT&T Center.
