Stop #2: Rampage in Rockford for key matchup

The San Antonio Rampage (28-17-4-0) look to rebound from their less than impressive start on their Rodeo Road Trip this afternoon. They make their next stop in Illinois to face the Rockford IceHogs (26-18-4-2).

San Antonio is coming off a 4-2 loss to the Grand Rapids Griffins, where they split their weekend series after winning in overtime on Friday. Michael Houser stopped 22 of 26 pucks he faced, while Connor Brickley scored twice in the loss. Rockford enters with a 3-1 win over the Western Conference leading Oklahoma City Barons.

The Silver and Black are 2-5-1-0 against the Midwest Division and 13-10-1-0 on the road. San Antonio is 16-20-0-2 all-time against the Chicago Blackhawks affiliate. Their last meeting was a 5-1 loss to the IceHogs at the AT&T Center on November 1.

The Rampage and IceHogs will drop the puck at 4 p.m. inside the BMO Harris Bank Center. Stephen Anderson will have a full recap on the website later.
