Stars vs. New York

The Stars will host the Liberty for the first time in 2014. The Stars will look to extend their winning streak against the Liberty to four, after beating them earlier this season, 87-75 at Madison Square Garden, and after going 2-0 against the Liberty in 2013.

Stars vs. Seattle
July 11 • 7:00 p.m. CT • AT&T Center
San Antonio will face the Storm for the third time this season and will be looking to get over .500 against the northwest team. The Stars fell at home to Seattle on 6/13, but beat them on the road just six days later.

Stars at Phoenix
July 13 • 5:00 p.m. CT • US Airways Center
The Stars and Mercury match up for the third time this season, and the second time
at the US Airways Center. When these teams previously lined up on this floor on 5/23, the Stars came away with a 78-74 road win.

ROAD WARRIORS: Through their first 19 games of the season, the Stars have tallied a 7-4 road record, marking the second best road record in the WNBA. Since 6/5, the Stars have won six of their seven road games, including five straight from 6/5 to 7/1. The Stars are averaging 75.9 points per game on the road, led by Danielle Robinson who is averaging 14.0 herself.

IMPRESSIVE TRIP: Stars rookie Kayla McBride, helped lead her team to a recent 3-1 road trip from 6/29 to 7/5, averaging 14.5 points in 28.8 minutes per game. The Notre Dame alum scored a catch-and-shoot three-point field goal with just 1.8 seconds remaining against the Fever on 7/5 to give the Stars a 71-70 victory to wrap up the road trip. McBride currently ranks third in the WNBA among rookies in scoring (11.2), and second in three-point field goal percentage (41.1).

HIGH PERCENTAGE: The Stars currently lead the WNBA in three-point field goal percentage, shooting at a 38.2 percent clip. Veteran guard Becky Hammon, leads the Stars and the WNBA, shooting 51.7 percent from beyond the arc so far this season. The Stars also rank second in the league in free-throw percentage, making 82.3 percent of shots from the stripe. Hammon also leads the Stars in this category, shooting 100 percent from the line.

FROM THE START: Stars forward Danielle Adams, made her first four starts of the season on the four-game road trip that finished with the Stars compiling a 3-1 record. Adams, who has made 33 starts in 110 games in her career (including 24 in 2013), averaged 9.3 points and 4.3 rebounds during the road trip from 6/29 to 7/5.

Guard Becky Hammon is getting back to her old self in recent games. The veteran averaged 10.3 points, 3.8 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 26 minutes during the four-game road trip from 6/29 to 7/5. Over her last eight games, Hammon is averaging 9.0 points, 3.9 assists and 2.0 rebounds in 30.3 minutes per game.

Hammon currently ranks first in the WNBA in three-point field goal percentage (51.7 percent) and leads the Stars with a 100 percent free- throw clip, making all 17 of her attempts so far in 2014.
