The San Antonio Stars (9-8) are in the middle of a four-game road trip in the span of seven days. They have lost ten straight games in Minnesota and that is where they find themselves tonight. However, the defending champion Lynx may be without one of their stars.

Seimone Augustus sat out Minnesota’s last game with bursitis in her left knee. She has averaged 17.2 points per game this season, but had a season-low five points on 2-of-10 shooting in an 81-71 road loss to the Storm on Friday.

“We want to make sure when she comes back, she’s fully healthy,” Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve said. “We don’t want to do a couple days at a time then she’s out again. We want to get her fully healthy. We’re pretty certain with what’s going on with her knee.”

Minnesota (12-5) has defeated the Stars twice this season with Maya Moore leading the way. She scored 25 points in an 87-79 victory in San Antonio on June 1, and 26 points, nine rebounds and five assists in an 88-72 home win May 30.

The Stars haven’t lost since that meeting and have won five straight away from the AT&T Center, their longest since a franchise-record, seven-game streak in 2012.

San Antonio is 2-0 on their four-game trip after beating Connecticut 74-71 on Tuesday behind Becky Hammon’s season-high 18 points. The Stars are allowing 72.4 points during their road streak – 6.1 fewer than their season mark – and 68.3 in the past three wins.

The Stars and Lynx are set to tip things off at 7 p.m. central time inside Target Center. Be sure to check back after the game for Stephen Anderson’s post-game report.
