
The San Antonio Stars season is just months away and the team is beginning to shape their roster and have signed three players to training camp contracts.
Forwards Toni Young and Ashley Paris, along with guard Brittany Chambers have been signed to training camp contracts, San Antonio Stars head coach and general manager Dan Hughes announced on Monday.
Young has played in 39 games after being drafted by the New York Liberty in 2013. She averaged 3.5 points and 1.6 rebounds per game and is currently playing overseas with Good Angels Kosice in Slovakia.
Paris was selected by the Los Angeles Sparks in the 2009 WNBA Draft. She is currently playing overseas in Russia with Energy Ivanovo. She is the sister of currently Tulsa Shock center Courtney Paris.
Chambers was selected by Los Angeles in the 2013 WNBA Draft. She is currently playing in Spain with Spar Girona.
The Stars will open the 2015 season on June 5 against the defending champion Phoenix Mercury before hosting the Tulsa Shock for their home opener on June 14 at Freeman Coliseum.
