Stars sign Sequoia Holmes for rest of 2017 season


The San Antonio Stars have signed guard Sequoia Holmes for the rest of the 2017 WNBA season, the team announced on Monday.

The 28-year-old was appeared in 10 games with the Silver and Black, averaging  2.9 points and 1.5 rebounds in 13.9 minutes.

Holmes was waived on June 28 before getting re-signed on Monday.

The Stars are currently 1-16 on the season and will return to the court Wednesday morning when they travel to Indianapolis to face the Fever to open up a three-game road trip.
