Butler is a 5-5 guard from University of Tennessee at Martin and finished her college career as all-time leading scorer in Ohio Valley Conference history. During her senior season, she averaged 23.5 points and 3.4 assists per game and ranks fourth on the NCAA all-time three-pointers made.

The Stars will open training camp on April 27 before taking on the Tulsa Shock for two preseason games on May 2 and May 6.

The team will tip-off the 2014 season on the road against the Atlanta Dream at 6:30 p.m. on May 16th and host the Shock the following night for their home opener at the AT&T Center at 7 p.m.
