The San Antonio Stars suffered a 73-56 loss to the hometown Connecticut Sun in front of 4,025 fans inside the Mohegan Sun Arena on Thursday night.

San Antonio struggled offensively, shooting 28 percent for the game. No Stars player was in double figures as Alex Montgomery and Sydney Colson each had eight points for the Silver and Black.

Connecticut was led by rookie Morgan Tuck’s 16 points. Kelsey Bone added 15 and Alyssa Thomas chipped in 12 for the Sun, who outscored the Stars 21-2 in the second quarter.
