Stars face the Atlanta Dream at home

The San Antonio Stars (7-7) are back in action tonight as they host the current Eastern Conference leader, the Atlanta Dream (9-4). Both teams are coming off of losses with San Antonio Stars losing to the Washington Mystics and the Atlanta Dream losing to the New York Liberty.

This is the 2nd game of a 2 game series between the two teams. The Atlanta Dream won the first game by a close margin. The Stars are 3-4 at home so far while the Dream are 2-3 on the road. Danielle Robinson is averaging 18.3 points per game in her last four games and was effective as she shot 50% from the floor. Listed below are three things to look for in tonight’s game.

1. Defend Angel McCoughtry – This is easier said than done. But, in order to win tonight’s game, the Stars will need a collective effort to minimize her impact on the game.

2. X Factor – The Stars are going to need someone (Shenise Johnson, Shameka Christon) to step up and play well. If they play well, the Stars chances of winning increases.

3. Danielle Adams – In Danielle Adams four years as a WNBA player, she plays extremely well against the Atlanta Dream. If she can do it again, the Stars stand a good chance of winning the game.

This will be the only WNBA game on tonight. It will be on WNBA LiveAccess and will tip off at 7 pm local time at the AT&T Center.
