The San Antonio Stars (13-14) wrap up their three game home stand against the Connecticut Sun (10-17) tonight. The Stars are coming off from a win at home against the Sky, while the Sun are coming off a loss on the road against the Atlanta Dream.
This match-up is of two teams going in opposite directions. The Stars are pushing towards securing a playoff spot while the Sun are in last place in the Eastern Conference. The Stars are currently in 3rd place and need three more wins or Tulsa losses to make the playoffs for the seventh time in the last eight years. The Stars are 6-7 at home, while the Sun are 3-11 on the road this season.
This is the second game of a two game series. The Stars currently lead the series 1-0.
Roster update
– Jia Perkins, the leading candidate for 6th woman of the year before being injured, returned on Tuesday after missing nearly a month with a hamstring injury and scored 12 points.
