Stars face Lynx again in home and home series


The San Antonio Stars return home for the second game of a home and home series against the defending WNBA Champion Minnesota Lynx. The Stars are perfect at home so far at 2-0 while Minnesota is undefeated on the road. at 3-0.

The Stars will need to have their best performance against the Lynx who were able to win Friday night despite the Stars hitting 50 percent from three-point range (14-28). Maya Moore had 26 points and is currently averaging 29.2 points per game. Jia Perkins continued her strong start for the Stars with 15 points, while averaging 12.5 points per game.

San Antonio hasn’t been able to beat the Lynx since July 22, 2010 when they won at Target Center. The Stars and the Lynx will tip off at 3:30 pm local time at the AT&T Center on Hoops & Hounds night.
