The inaugural season for San Antonio FC is nearly here, but do you know as much as you can about the city’s newest team? If not, now you can!

San Antonio FC is teaming up with Ticket 760 AM and host Geoff Sheen for a weekly radio show called Soccer Saturday. The show will premiere April 9 at 6 p.m. from Toyota Field and will air regularly on Saturdays at 11 a.m or 6 p.m.

“Soccer Saturday will offer San Antonio sports fans an insider’s perspective into SAFC each week along with discussion on other major happenings on the domestic and global scene,” said SAFC Managing Director Tim Holt. “No one is more knowledgeable and passionate about local sports and professional soccer than host Geoff Sheen, and he will be joined by SAFC players, coaches, and other special guests.”

In addition to focusing on SAFC news, Soccer Saturday will also report on national and global news about the game of soccer. This new show will provide San Antonio soccer fans a great opportunity to keep up with the game they love.

“SAFC is embarking on a historical season,” said Sheen. “The future for the team and our city is so bright. I cannot wait to talk about it every Saturday. I am, and I know Ticket 760 is thrilled to be a part of soccer in San Antonio.”

San Antonio FC will open their first season in the Alamo City on the road April 3 against the Seattle Sounders 2 before returning home for their home opener on April 9 against the Swope Park Rangers at Toyota Field.
