Series Preview: San Antonio Rampage at Iowa Wild

The San Antonio Rampage (6-2-0-0) will open a two game series against the Iowa Wild (2-5-2-0) at 7 p.m. from the Wells Fargos Center.

Last time out: San Antonio had their five-game winning streak snapped with a 5-3 loss to San Diego Gulls at the AT&T Center last Saturday. The Rampage gave up four goals in the second period, ensuring a loss.

Penalty kill solid: The Rampage continue to be solid as a brick on the penalty kill, stopping 40-of-44 attempts for 90.9 percent.


Against Iowa: The Rampage have a 3-0-0-0 winning streak against the Wild in their last three games. Overall, the Silver and Black are 12-5-2-3 all-time against Minnesota Wild affiliate.

The Rampage and Wild will drop the puck at 7 p.m. from the Wells Fargo Center.
