Sebastien Ibeagha named USL Player of the Week

Houston Fast 7 competed in the 15 and under division at the Texas Showdown National Championship 7on7 14th and 15th in Round Rock.

San Antonio FC’s Sebastien Ibeagha has been named the USL Player of the Week for Week 1 of the 2017 season, the league announced on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old helped SAFC to a 1-0 win over the Rio Grande Valley FC Toros on Sunday, completing 70 percent of his passes and had 10 clear attempts in the victory.

Ibeagha is in his first season with SAFC after spending the 2016 season with the Houston Dynamo of Major League Soccer (MLS).

San Antonio FC is 1-0-0 (3 points) on the season and will return to the pitch on Saturday when they welcome LA Galaxy II to Toyota Field at 7:30 p.m. for their 2017 season home opener.
