Scorpions still searching for first win of season

The San Antonio Scorpions are still searching for their first win of the Spring Season as they hit the road for the first time to face Minnesota United tonight at 7 p.m.

San Antonio enters 0-0-2 on the season dead last in the NASL standings. They are coming off a 1-2 loss to Indy Eleven last Saturday that the red and black fall with a goal from Sergio Peña 40-yards out in the 89th minute to seal the win. Goal keeper Jon Kempin also hopes to rebound from the loss, he is giving up 2.5 goals a match.

Minnesota enters tenth in the NASL standings with a record of 0-1-1. The Loons are coming off a 1-0 loss to the Ottawa Fury last Saturday. Last season, Minnesota scored a total of 47 goals. Pablo Campos who played with the Scorpions is now with United.
