Scorpions reveal jersey designs for 2015

Following a series of teasing Facebook posts concerning the 2015 soccer kits, the Scorpions recently revealed three new jersey styles for the season.

The first keeps to the classic red-and-black style that the Scorpions have been sticking to for the past few years, while the second design incorporates a grey fill above the red stripe. The final design, a grey and black striped jersey, recalls a chunkier version of the very first Scorpions jerseys produced during their successful 2012 debut season.

The three jersey styles went on sale during the week at the Scorpion’s main site. In addition to the reveal, the team also allowed voting for which jersey would be used in the season’s opening game on April 4th. Voting closed on Sunday, March 29th, and came with a drawing for two jerseys for anyone who enters.

You can see the new look jerseys on Saturday when the Scorpions open the 2015 NASL Spring Season and begin their title defense against the Tampa Bay Rowdies at 7:30 p.m. at Toyota Field.
