Preview: Scorpions return home, seeking first win

The San Antonio Scorpions return home from a two-game road trip and are seeking their first win of the Spring Season as they take on the Carolina Railhawks at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

San Antonio comes into the game with a record of 0-1-3 and last in the NASL standings. The red and black are coming off a 1-2 loss to Jacksonville Armada FC last Saturday. Omar Cummings scored the lone goal for the defending champions, but a late goal from Alhassane Keita in the final moments gave Armada the win.

Carolina comes in with a record of 1-3-1 and sixth in the standings. The Railhawks lone win came on opening night against Ottowa, but since then they have not collected three points. Their three draws came against FC Edmonton, Indy Eleven and Tampa Bay.

Overall, the red and black are 7-4 all time against Carolina. That includes an 8-0 win at Toyota Field on July 28, 2012.

The Scorpions and Railhawks will kick things off at 7:30 p.m. at Toyota Field. Stephen Anderson will have a full recap following the game. Be sure to follow @andersonstevem and @RedBlack_90 on Twitter for live updates.
