The San Antonio Scorpions have not had the best start to their title defense. It was another case of deja vu as a late goal would send them to another defeat and has the red and black in a funk as the get ready to return home.

Omar Cummings scored the loan goal for San Antonio as the Scorpions (0-1-3) fell 1-2 to Jacksonville Armada (2-0-2) in front of 8,147 inside Community First Park on Saturday evening.

Jacksonville got the fans roaring when Pascal Millien converted on a shot that found its way past San Antonio goalkeeper Daryl Sattler near the far post in the fourth minute to give Armada the early lead. The Scorpions answered back when Cummings beat Miguel Gallardo with a bicycle kick four minutes later.

Armada went ahead for good in the 93rd minute when Alhassane Keita beat Sattler to send the fans home happy and kept San Antonio winless on the Spring Season.

The Scorpions will now return home to face the Carolina Railhawks next Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Toyota Field.
