The San Antonio Scorpions and Jacksonville Armada FC played to a scoreless draw in front of 7,053 fans at Community First Park on Saturday evening.

After a two and a half hour delay due to rain and lightning, the game finally got underway. Neither team would have much of a chance in the first half, despite a heavy attack from the Scorpions.

San Antonio saw their best chance come in the 58th minute when Billy Forbes got the pass from Omar Cummings and sent a shot towards the net, but it went over the crossbar and out of play.

Scorpions goalkeeper Daniel Fernandes made key saves to help his team earn a point. He stopped a Jemal Johnson attempt for Jacksonville in the 37th minute and moments later on a second scoring attempt.

With the point, the red and black remain six points out of fourth place and the final playoff berth in the NASL table with one less game played than the other teams.

The Scorpions are now 2-3-4 (9 points) on the Fall season and will return to the pitch next Saturday when they welcome NASL leaders Ottawa Fury FC to Toyota Field at 7:30 p.m.
