The Stars wrapped up four games the last two weeks with a record of 2 wins and 2 losses. The Stars won against the Phoenix Mercury and the Seattle Storm at home and lost to the Los Angeles Sparks and Mercury on the road.

In the four games that the Stars played in, they played more to the style that has been successful in past years. They got balanced scoring, Sophia Young-Malcolm playing as her previous All Star form and San Antonio was playing more as a team.

Dearica Hamby also played well in the previous four games and is a candidate for the All-Rookie Team. Defense was an issue as Jayne Appel was out due to a mouth injury. The Stars also lost Jia Perkins for a couple of games the past two weeks due to a lingering calf injury.

The Stars record now stands at 2-8 and it will be an uphill battle for the silver and black to make the playoffs as the other Western Conference teams get healthier and better.
