The San Antonio Stars (10-9) are coming off a season-high four games in seven days road trip in which they went 3-1. Now, they return home to face the New York Liberty (7-11). The Stars have struggled at home with a record of 3-5 and look to improve that tonight against the Liberty who they’ve already beaten this season. New York, meanwhile is coming off three home wins where Tina Charles had 60 points in two games. She was also recently named Player of the Week for the East.

This is the second game of a two-game series between the two teams. Listed below are three quick things to look for from the Stars tonight.

1) Stop Tina Charles – She’s one of the reasons why the Liberty have been so successful the past few games. If the Stars can limit her scoring and make everyone else beat them, they should win.

2) Team balance – Last game that these two played, the Stars had incredible balance as multiple players were in double figures. It’s no secret that when the Stars can get more than 2 players in double figures, it usually factors into a win.

3) Home vs Away – The Stars are struggling at home and haven’t won at home since June 14. However, the Liberty are struggling on the road and haven’t won away from Madison Square Garden since May 16. One of these stats will improve tonight. Which one will it be?

The game will be at the AT&T Center and will tip off at 7 pm local time (8 pm EST, 5 pm PST). The game will also be on WNBA LiveAccess.
