The club released a statement, saying the postponement of the match was out of “abundance of caution”.

“The postponement comes after multiple covered individuals from San Antonio tested positive for COVID-19. All league, local, and state health and wellness protocols are being followed,” the statement read.

The match was the final game in a three-week road trip for San Antonio FC, who currently sits in fourth place in the Mountain Division.

San Antonio FC is scheduled to return to Toyota Field next Saturday for a match against Real Monarchs, which opens a three-game homestand.
