San Antonio FC unveiled their new look home kits for the 2018 USL season on Tuesday night at an event at Cowboys Dance Hall.
Fans packed the dance hall to get their first look at the new threads the local soccer team would be wearing on the pitch. And let me tell you, they were worth the wait.
SAFC players Greg Cochrane, Rafa Castillo, Mikey Lopez, Ryan Roushandel, and Pecka were all in attendance as well as Head Coach Darren Powell and Managing Director Tim Holt.
Gone are the white outline on the letters and numbers as well as the white trim on the top of the kit. Replacing it are nice vertical red streaks and a black outline around the letters and numbers.
The new look uniforms quickly became a hit across social media as supporters quickly gave their seal of approval for the new look.
San Antonio FC will open their third season in the Alamo City on Saturday, March 17 in Sacramento before returning to Toyota Field to host Saint Louis FC on March 24 at 7:30 p.m. for the clubs home opener.
