San Antonio FC is continuing to shape their roster for the 2020 USL Championship season and they added defender Connor Maloney to the lineup on Monday morning.

Maloney joins SAFC from Columbus Crew SC, where he’s played since the 2017 season. He made 15 first-team appearances and played on loan with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.

“We are excited to add Connor Maloney to the SAFC Family,” said SAFC Head Coach Alen Marcina. “Connor exemplifies the intensity, tireless work ethic, and high character traits of our team culture and will serve as an essential contributor both on and off the field.”

The 24-year-old played his collegiate career with Penn State University, where he tallied scored 27 goals and recorded 17 assists in 75 appearances.

“I am very excited to get started with San Antonio FC,” said Maloney. “I would like to thank the management and coaching staff for providing me an opportunity to contribute to much success in San Antonio.”

Maloney joins Hunter Gorskie and Jesus Enriquez as new additions for the 2020 season as they join returning players Cristian Parano and Ebenezer Ackon.
