San Antonio FC has re-signed midfielder Pecka for the 2018 USL season, the club announced on Thursday afternoon.
Pecka returns to SAFC after spending the 2017 season with the club. He posted a total of 1,850 minutes played and recorded one assist in 24 appearances.
“We’re happy to have Pecka back for the 2018 season,” SAFC Head Coach Darren Powell said through a team press release. “He had a very strong campaign in 2017 and showed that he can play several different roles in midfield for us. He’s an asset to the team and we expect him to build on his quality performances this coming season.”
Pecka led SAFC in 2017 with a 77 percent tackle success rate and interceptions.
Pecka joins Rafa Castillo, Ryan Roushandel, Mike Seth, Stephen McCarthy, Maxi Rodriguez, Connor Presley, Cyprian Hedrick, Greg Cochrane, goalkeepers Deigo Restrepo and Matt Cardone, Cesar Elizondo, and Ever Guzman in returning to SAFC in 2018.
