San Antonio FC has re-signed midfielder Pecka for the 2019 USL season, the club announced earlier this week.

The Brazilian midfielder returns to SAFC after spending the 2018 season with the club. He tallied one goal, 47 tackles, 28 interceptions and an 86.3 percent passing accuracy over 924 passes over the course of the 2018 campaign.

“The coaching staff is pleased to have Pecka join us again for the 2019 season,” said SAFC Head Coach Darren Powell said in a statement. “He has been instrumental playing central midfield for us over the last couple of years. We expect him to continue to get better and we are looking forward to starting preseason with him.”

Pecka is the first San Antonio FC squad member to return for the 2019 season.
