San Antonio FC postpones match with Portland due to Hurricane Harvey

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio FC has postponed their Saturday night match with Portland Timbers 2 due to the impending impact of Hurricane Harvey, the club announced on Friday morning.

The postponement of the match is for the safety of the SAFC players, staff, and fans as heavy rain and flooding is expecting to hit the San Antonio area for the next three days.

The match has been rescheduled for Weds. October 11 at Toyota Field with kick off set for 7:30 p.m.

San Antonio FC is currently 12-2-9 (45 points) and will return to the pitch next Saturday when they open a month long road trip with their first stop coming in Salt Lake City against Real Monarchs SLC.
