San Antonio FC looking to get back into the win column to close out April

The month of April has not been too kind to the San Antonio FC as they broke even with Swope Park and Fresno FC and have a loss against Orange County SC.

They’ll have an opportunity to get back into the win column with a match on Friday against the Las Vegas Lights FC. It’ll be on the road at Cashman Field at 10 p.m. as they continue their Fiesta Road Trip.

Lights head coach Isidro Sanchez was just named USL’s Coach of the Month in March after starting the USL season at 2-0-1.

Lights forward Sammy Ochoa has been on the cusp of a hot streak lately, and he’ll look to continue that in Friday’s action.

For San Antonio, Diego Restrepo has said it’s clear his club needs a win.

“We need to win. Our goal is to earn three points on Friday,” he said.

San Antonio has been led by goalkeeper Restrepo, along with Ryan Roushandeln and Greg Cochrane lately, especially on defense.

SAFC fans have plenty to be concerned with after their 0-3 loss to Orange County, so they’ll need some points as they are currently 12th in the Western Conference, with the Lights slightly ahead of them in 10th, but there’s still plenty of games left in the season and it’s not time to jump into panic mode just yet. While fans are concerned, many bookmakers like NetBet are preparing their prediction for next matches and despite their bad run on the start, the odds on San Antonio team are still attractive and should be considered when placing a bet. Be sure not to overlook these great opportunities to bet on San Antonio, especially if you are a fan!

The match will be available on ESPN+ as the Game of the Week.
