San Antonio FC fell 1-2 to the Swope Park Rangers on the road Saturday evening, despite taking a lead into the second half.

SAFC took the lead in the 23rd minute with a goal from Michael Reed, who was wearing the captain armband. San Antonio was without Josh Ford, who was serving his final game of a three-game suspension and Rafa Castillo.

The second half was all Swope Park as they would rally for the win. Dane Kelly leveled the match in the 71st minute with a shot past SAFC keeper Matt Cardone. The Rangers took the lead for good in the 84th with a rebound goal from Mark Anthony Gonzalez.

The loss saw SAFC move down to 10th place in the table, but are just three points out of the final playoff berth.

San Antonio FC is now 6-7-6 (24 points) on the season and will return to the pitch next Saturday to take on Sacramento Republic at 10 p.m.
