San Antonio FC earned a 1-0 win over Rio Grande Valley Toros FC in a closed door preseason friendly at Toyota Field on Saturday afternoon.

Both teams struggled on both sides of the ball, but it was an error from RGV that gave San Antonio the victory. An own-goal from the RGV defense that the keeper could not corral was the difference as SAFC came away victorious.

San Antonio FC will close the preseason on Thursday when they take on the University of the Incarnate Word and Trinity University at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. respectively.

The team will open their first season in the Alamo City on the road April 3 against the Seattle Sounders 2 before returning home for their home opener on April 9 against the Swope Park Rangers at Toyota Field.
