San Antonio FC has signed defender Biko Bradnock-Brennan and forward Jacques Francois to contracts for the 2016 season, the team announced on Tuesday.
Bradnock-Brennan comes to San Antonio from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he spent four years. He earned First Team All-Conference USA honors and was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week in September 2014.
“Biko is a quality center back out of a very good college program at UNC Charlotte,” said SAFC Head Coach Darren Powell. “He is a very mature player for his age, and he has impressed us while on trial at preseason camp. We are looking forward to working with him and seeing him improve in this environment.”
Francois comes to the Alamo City from University of North Carolina at Greensboro, scoring eight goals and recorded 10 assists in 19 matches.
San Antonio FC will open their first season in the Alamo City on the road April 3 against the Seattle Sounders 2 before returning home for their home opener on April 9 against the Swope Park Rangers at Toyota Field.
