San Antonio FC closed out the 2017 preseason with a 1-2 loss to FC Dallas of Major League Soccer (MLS) on Sunday morning.

Fresh off their MLS season opener, FC Dallas started off strong with two goals in 20 minutes, taking a 2-0 lead into halftime.

SAFC finally got on the scoreboard in the second half when forward Aly Alberto Hassan came on as a substitute and put home a goal to cut Dallas’ lead to just one. San Antonio had several solid chances to level, but would fall short at the final whistle.

San Antonio FC will open the 2017 USL season next Sunday when they travel to Rio Grande Valley to face Toros FC inside the brand new H-E-B Park.
