San Antonio FC midfielder Charlie Ward has been named to the USL Team of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The honor comes after Ward scored his first pro goal off a free kick attempt in San Antonio’s 4-2 win over Real Monarchs SLC on Saturday night. The England native also posted a 90.8 percent passing accuracy, three tackles, and two clearances.
Ward has appeared in four matches for SAFC since signing with the club in June. He has posted 90.5 percent passing accuracy and logged 216 total minutes.
