SAFC’s Mark O’Ojong named to USL Team of the Week


San Antonio FC midfielder Mark O’Ojong has been named to the USL Team of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon.

O’Ojong scored the go-ahead goal in SAFC’s 2-0 win over the Tulsa Roughnecks last Saturday. For the season, he scored two goals in 11 matches playing 609 minutes.

O’Ojong is just one of six Western Conference players on this week’s USL Team of the Week honors.

San Antonio FC is currently 15-4-10 on the season and will return to the pitch on Saturday when they welcome the Tampa Bay Rowdies to Toyota Field at 7:30 p.m.
