San Antonio FC goalkeeper Josh Ford has announced his retirement from pro soccer after five years.
Ford made the announcement on his Instagram account late Tuesday afternoon. In the post, he thanked the fans, the game, and his family for their support on his journey. He also stated he wants to try something new.
San Antonio FC later confirmed the news on Twitter, posting a thank you to the captain on their Twitter account. As of this writing, no official team release has been made public on the matter.
