San Antonio FC has signed forward Tabort Etaka Preston for the 2020 USL Championship season, the club announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Preston comes to the Alamo City after spending the 2019 season with Las Vegas Lights FC and added 34 key passes and 54 successful dribble over the season.
“We are delighted to welcome Tabort Etaka Preston to the SAFC Family,” said SAFC Head Coach Alen Marcina. “Taka is a former youth international who represented Cameroon, and he possesses electrifying pace, great commitment on and off the ball, and demonstrates the ability to score goals. He fits the player profile of our game model and culture.”
Preston joins Zachary Herivaux, Gonzalo Di Renzo, Victor “PC” Giro, Hayden Partain, Connor Maloney, Hunter Gorskie and Jesus Enriquez as well as returning players Jose Gallegos, Leo Torres, Kai Greene, Josh Yaro, Matt Cardone, Cristian Parano and Ebenezer Ackon.
“I want to thank the front office and coaching staff of San Antonio FC for giving me this opportunity,” said Preston. “I believe in the ambition of the club, and I am excited to be part of this family. With the help of God, we will achieve great things this year.”
