San Antonio FC has re-signed midfielders Maxi Rodriguez and Connor Presley to contracts for the 2018 USL season, the club announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Maxi Rodriguez returns to San Antonio FC after spending the 2017 season with the club. He appeared in 16 USL appearances, posting six shots, five shots on goal, and four chances.
“It’s great to have Maxi back,” said SAFC Head Coach Darren Powell through a team press release. “He’s a local San Antonio boy, and he showed great promise throughout last season. He’s aiming to add more consistency to his game in 2018 and we expect big things out of him.”

Connor Presley returns after a very successful trial with SAFC in 2017. He made his debut with the club on August 23 against Vancouver Whitecaps 2, posting three chances and recording two shots.
“Connor is an exciting young prospect from the local area,” said Powell in the release. “He joined us late last season but he showed a great deal of potential in training and in the moments he got during matches. We feel he’ll impact this team positively in 2018 once he gets a good preseason under his belt.”
Rodriguez and Presley join Cyprian Hedrick, Greg Cochrane, goalkeepers Deigo Restrepo and Matt Cardone, Cesar Elizondo, and Ever Guzman in returning for the 2018 season.
