San Antonio FC has re-signed forward Ever Guzman for the 2019 USL Championship season, the club announced on November 29.

Guzman returns to SAFC for his second full season after 2018 saw him score 11 goals, breaking the single-season scoring record for the club. Overall, he has 15 goals in USL play and 16 total in all competitions.

When he was signed in 2017, he added to the scoring quickly – totaling four goals in nine appearances in the regular season.

“We’re very pleased to have Ever back for the 2019 season,” SAFC Head Coach Darren Powell said in a statement. “He is very consistent in his level of performances and while his goals are there for everyone to see, his daily effort and commitment for the betterment of the team make him one of the best strikers in the league.”

Guzman joins Rafa Castillo, Matt Cardone, and Pecka in returning to the club in 2019.
