SAFC loans Alex Bruce to Lansing Ignite FC

San Antonio FC has loaned midfielder Alex Bruce to USL One side Lansing Ignite FC for the 2019 USL season, the club announced on Monday.

“Alex has had a good preseason and worked hard with the group,” said SAFC Head Coach Darren Powell in a statement. “He has an opportunity to go and get games with Lansing, and we are looking forward to watching him progress and see how he does.”

Bruce spent the 2018 season with SAFC, tallying three goals, 17 shots and a 72.7 percent passing accuracy in 13 matches.


San Antonio FC will open the 2019 USL season on March 9 at Toyota Field against Phoenix Rising FC.
