SAFC to host Round 2 of U.S. Open Cup against Corinthians FC SA

San Antonio FC will host Corinthians FC SA in the second round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday May 18 at Toyota Field.

This will be the first U.S. Open Cup game in San Antonio FC history and the fourth in the history of Toyota Field.

Corinthians FC earned an automatic second round bid after NTX Rayados were disqualified by U.S. Soccer for not meeting the criteria to participate in the tournament.


The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup is the oldest national soccer competition in American history. Founded in 1914, the knockout-style tournament consists of clubs of the American soccer leagues, including MLS, NASL, USL, PDL, NPSL.
