
The fastest player in the WNBA can add another honor to her resume.
San Antonio Stars guard Danielle Robinson has been named to the 2014 WNBA All-Defensive Second Team, the league announced Friday afternoon.
Robinson ranked eighth in the WNBA in steals, averaging 1.67 per game in the 2014 regular season. This is her third consecutive All-Defensive honor.
Also making up the All-Defensive Second Team are Alana Beard of the Los Angeles Sparks, Tamika Catchings of the Indiana Fever, Maya Moore of the Minnesota Lynx and Sylvia Fowles of the Chicago Sky.
Robinson received 27 points from the leagues head coaches who voted on the award.
The Stars trail their best-of-three series 0-1 to the Minnesota Lynx after suffering an 88-84 loss in Game 1 on Friday night. The two teams will face off in Game 2 tomorrow night at the AT&T Center at 6 p.m.
