Rampage wrap up home schedule against Stars


The San Antonio Rampage (45-22-6-1) will close out the home portion of their schedule when they face their in-state rival Texas Stars (38-22-13-1) tonight at 7:30 p.m.

San Antonio is third in the Western Conference with 97 points and enters coming off a 3-2 loss against Texas. After going down 3-0 early, the Rampage got goals from Corban Knight and Garrett Wilson in the loss. Sam Brittain made his fifth straight start and took the loss.

Texas comes in fifth in the Western Conference with 90 points. In Texas’ 3-2 win on Tuesday, the Stars got goals from Travis Morin, Brendan Ranford and Kevin Henderson.

The Silver and Black are 28-31-7-1 overall against the Dallas Stars affiliate, including a 6-4 record this season. San Antonio is 18-15-0-1 all-time at home against Texas.
