Rampage try to rebound against Wild


After having their seven-game winning streak snapped last night, the San Antonio Rampage return to the ice and hope to return to their winning ways when they face the Iowa Wild this afternoon at the AT&T Center.

San Antonio (12-6-1-0) is coming off a 4-3 overtime loss to the Oklahoma City Barons on Saturday evening. Despite leading 3-1 going into the third period, Oklahoma City outshot the Rampage 18-4 in the final frame, getting two goals to force overtime. Drew Shore and Logan Shaw tallied goals in the loss.

Iowa (5-14-1-0) comes in after falling the defending champion Texas Stars 4-3 on Saturday. The Wild have lost three consecutive games heading into today’s matchup.

This is the second meeting of the season between the two clubs, on opening night the Rampage won 3-2 as Dan Ellis made several key saves in the final minute to secure the win.
