Rampage to play in Central Division beginning in 2018-19 season

The American Hockey League has approved a division alignment for the 2018-19 AHL season.

The division alignment will see the San Antonio Rampage move from the Pacific Division to the Central Division for the 2018-19 campaign. The move will see the Silver and Black compete in the same division as the Chicago Wolves, Rockford IceHogs, Iowa Wild, Manitoba Moose, Texas Stars, and Grand Rapids Griffins.

Taking the place of the Rampage in the Pacific Division will be the Colorado Eagles, who will be the 31st AHL team beginning next season.
